Friday night, a rain storm moved over just before sunset, and gave me lots of things to shoot, before and after.
As the storm moved in, the sun peeked through a hole:
Then, after the storm passed, dual layers of clouds created some interesting images, like the feature shot and these:
Looking off to the east, over Lake Michigan, I could see white puffiness blowing up as the storm built up strength again:
That was also the first rain we’d had in a couple of weeks. We got more today, but I don’t believe it’s enough to get caught up, moisture-wise. That spate of 90-degree days really dried us out!
