Continuing from yesterday, my little short walk to a nearby playground and park yielded a few interesting photos.
The snow hadn’t been too disturbed, only a few footprints around, spare enough that I could shoot around them. I was surprised at the lack of disarray, even the slides still held the original snowfall more than a week later.
There was a large ice patch on the path, with some unusual features. There were slight hollows, almost like something had been pressed into the ice before it froze completely. They stood out, highlighted by the fine snow flurry we’d had earlier in the day.
A footbridge over the creek was a nice vantage to get some water and ice shots.
I got these two cattail shots not long after each other. The darker one is no sun, the brighter one is after the sun popped out for a few minutes.
I’m torn – I like the color in the dark one, but I like the brightness of the cattails in the other. Any thoughts?
